Padmore and Barnes

Padmore & Barnes are often mistaken for a pair of Clarks. When i've worn them, i've been asked are they Clarks? For many years, starting around 1967, Wallabees were made in Ireland at the Padmore & Barnes factory. They were made for Clarks, Supreme, Killah Shoe Co, and many other brands. The factory was then shut down in 2003. Now Padmore & Barnes have now returned to making them in Ireland, and even now have a website to go with it. To get a pair of Padmore & Barnes before they returned is like rocking horse shit! I've worn them many times since i bought them and have to say there one of the most comfortable shoe i have worn. I went for the willow lite in a chestnut colour, when the box arrived i couldn't believe how lovely they are. I am normally a Clarks man with wearing them for alot of years and having many pairs but i've got to say the Padmore & Barnes looks better then many Clarks i have had and many i have seen. They were well worth the £80 or so they were. There is also many other pairs there selling that i do fancy buying, but there's only so many shoes a person can have right?

Here's a few pictures of them, after been worn for a month or two.
